Through physical activity and reflective practice, the Wellbeing Through Sport Primary Foundation Programme introduces the four foundation ‘TMH Core Life Skills’ essential to nurturing emotional intelligence and building resilience. The programme has also been designed to support teachers to develop character and independence in their pupils.

During the Primary Foundation Programme, children will not only develop the four foundation ‘TMH Core Life Skills’ but also complete at least 30 minutes of physical activity at the same time.

Every child’s development of the four foundation ‘TMH Core Life Skills’ is supported by using classroom based reflection tasks at the end of each lesson.

The Primary Foundation Programme includes online access to lesson plans with reflection tasks for teacher delivery, and CPD training for staff members.

A hard copy of the lesson plans and reflective tasks, six emoji frisbees, and a large poster for classroom display will also be posted directly to your school.

We believe that for real and meaningful difference to be made, the promotion of good health and wellbeing should extend beyond the Wellbeing Through Sport Programme and be embedded across the whole of a school. Our online training assists staff members to do this, and supports their continuing professional development.
